How we work, and what we will not do.
A directory that scores companies owes its readers a straight account of its own conduct. This page is that account. If we breach it, we want to be held to it.
Who publishes this
ServiceDax is published by Get Visible. Research, scoring, and editorial decisions are made by the ServiceDax editorial team. No listed vendor has approval rights over a profile, a score, or a placement.
Independence and commercial relationships
No vendor pays to be listed, to rank higher, or to have a finding removed. Ranking is produced by the published rubric applied to public evidence.
Where the operator of this site has any commercial or personal relationship with a listed vendor, we disclose it in three places: on the vendor’s profile, on the directory card, and on the disclosures page. We do this whether or not the relationship touched the research.
If we ever introduce affiliate links, sponsored placement, or paid listings, they will be labelled at the point a reader encounters them, not only in a policy page. As of 2026-08-31 there are none.
What we will never do
- Invent, solicit, edit, or reweight a review, rating, testimonial, or customer quote.
- Show a rating without its review count.
- Place a vendor higher because of an undisclosed payment relationship.
- Describe a vendor as certified, compliant, or attested without verified evidence of the exact claim and its scope.
- Imply that an undocumented practice is an unsafe, noncompliant, or deficient one.
- Predict whether a company will survive, be acquired, or fail.
- Profile individual reviewers or commenters, or characterise named individuals beyond what official or authoritative sources state.
- Remove an accurate, sourced finding because a vendor objects to it.
How research is done
Every claim traces to a reviewed public source, recorded with its URL, class, and the date it was read. Our published rubric governs scoring, and each profile shows its points against the visible maximums.
Scores change only when new public evidence is recorded, with the source, the date, and the reason for the point movement. Material changes appear in the research log.
Where we could not verify something, we say so and name what we looked for. “Not located in reviewed public sources” is a statement about our search, not about the vendor.
Corrections and disputes
We correct factual errors promptly and without argument. Send the specific claim, what is wrong, and a source we can verify, using the corrections process.
Corrected records keep a date-stamped note in the research log. We do not quietly edit a finding out of existence: if a score moves, the log says so and says why.
Where we disagree with a vendor about an interpretation rather than a fact, we will publish the vendor’s position alongside our finding rather than suppress either one.
Vendor rights
- To see what we published about you, at any time, without contacting us.
- To have factual errors corrected on evidence, promptly.
- To supply material that fills a documented gap, which we will review and, if it checks out, reflect in the score with a dated note.
- To have a disagreement of interpretation recorded on the profile.
- To know that no payment to us buys any of the above, and that declining to engage costs you nothing beyond the gaps already in the public record.
Company and product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. They are used here for identification and commentary.
